Saturday, April 27th, there is a trail race at Lake Mohegan in Fairfield CT. There are 5k, 10k, and 4-hour* options. Last year, NHRR's own Julia Maurer won the 4 hour event with 7 complete laps for 21.7 miles.

The race is closed to men, but we can volunteer. There is a link at the same website.

*In the 4-hour option, the runner completes as many laps as possible within 4 hours and the winner is the person who finishes the most laps. You can stop after any lap you want.

#LetHerRun is a hashtag and group that advocates for stopping catcalls and allowing all runners a safe environment. I have salvaged about 20 tech t-shirts from my other running group CT Waverunners.
They come in women's and unisex, different sizes, different sleeves, and different colors. Not all colors are shown.
They are free.
I will bring them to the fun run tonight. If there is a gender/size/color/sleeve that you want, it's easy to get more. I didn't want to be a hog.

A few of us will get together tonight at Archie's to talk about the race and watch Crossan's brother play his first NCAA football game at Duke. He is the long snapper against Clemson. The game starts at eight.
