Mary Johnson
Mary started running track as a senior in high school (to get out of gym class), and was immediately hooked. She rowed 4 years of D1 crew at Fairfield University, and then returned to running in 2010 and has run 9 marathons since then.
She started coaching in 2015, first starting in strength & conditioning, and started online run coaching one year later. She founded her online coaching business, Lift.Run.Perform, in 2017, and has been fully immersed in the running community ever since. She's certified for coaching under USATF and VDOT, and has worked with all levels of athletes in a variety of distances.
She joined NHRR in 2023 after taking some time off to have kids and having hip surgery, and is excited to be co-coaching the club while continuing to train for marathons and half marathons herself.
