"USATF24" will work for $5 off Middletown 10K as well as Rocky Neck Runfest Trail 5K and Summer Solstice 8 Miler
"GOSTAGS" will take $5 off registration off the Fairfield Half

I'm setting up the NHRR tent across the street from the restaurant tomorrow at around 9:30 AM. We should have people there to watch bags.

Anyone else not running but planning on biking around the course on Monday to catch folks at several different points on the course?
I'll be out on a bike with my camera and a backpack full of beers cheering the team on Monday morning. If anyone else is interested in joining the rolling cheer-fest let me know and we can work out a plan.

I'm way out of the loop talking to folks these days, but is there any plans/interest in having more tech shirts/hats/kits etc with the team logo on them? I was thinking less of race gear and more just stuff to wear on other runs. When I used to get bored at work, I made a bunch of designs that I'm just sitting on, like this but with the club logo and website on the back
Would there be any desire from folks to get say like 100 made? For Zachary, I could do a one off and edit the pizza into a poptart.
I was also thinking, with the uptick in new folks showing up at runs, has there been any thought to say like, once per month, setting up a merch table on the Wednesday night runs? Just a thought.

In Wednesday Night Runs
Hey ya'll
Sorry to steal Ryan's thunder here (weather pun intended) but with the delay in the New Haven fireworks we're going to hang around after the fun run tomorrow night to watch the fireworks. The club is graciously providing pizza and I'll be bringing a cooler of beer left over from the legacy NHRR VT camping trip. There has been mention of heading to the wilbur cross track to view, but it's likely going to be a fluid situation.
As always, run starts at 6:30 and there are 3 and 5 mile options.
Fireworks are likely starting around 9, so dress appropriately. Refreshments will be in between.

Time: 7:30 AM (Sorry Josh) Place: Nathan's House (850 Tall Timber Road, Orange) By popular demand, I'll be leading a trail around the Maltby Lakes and Yale Outdoor Space. If you've never been, it's the best system for trail running and mountain biking in New Haven County, if not the state. SCSU, NHU, Yale and Hopkins XC teams use this property to train on. I'll be leading a 8ish mile loop on the major "trunk" trails and pointing out the various access points as we go. Pace will be slow as I'm no longer much of a runner, so don't expect much on that front. If you're recovering from a marathon or something, it could be fun. If folks are interested, we can do a brunch or something afterwards too, just respond here. FAQ Don't I need a RWA Rec Pass to be on RWA Property? I have a bunch of passes so we're all fine. For what it's worth, I've only been asked for my pass once over the last decade and that was likely because I stopped the ranger and was giving him a hard time about driving on a truck through the mud. Do I need trail shoes? No, we'll be sticking to the easy, wider stuff Can I bring a dog? Dogs, like alcohol, are not allowed on RWA property. I would never condone breaking either of these laws 😉

Though only a few months ago, it may have well as be an eternity. Back when monsters like Garrett and Matt still wandered the streets, like a couple of T. Rexes before the meteor hit. I present a testament to the what many could call the greatest race event of the previous year and the passing of a few legends.
